TRADITIONAL CRAFT. NEW DESIGN.
Fez embroidery, or tarz al ghorza, is a very complex embroidery technique that was traditionally taught to young girls by their mothers to embroider soft furnishing that were to constitute their marriage trousseau. It's graphic character has made it iconic and has invited us to reinterpret the craft in a thicker and more resistant woven canvas made by one of the oldest weaving workshops in Morocco. We were moved by the idea that the beauty of these patterns could be revived if the marriage trousseau was reinvented, both in style and in function. We then created a line of clutches, city and travel bags that complement the lifestyle of the travellers and adventurers that modern day women have become.
